FESTIVE DIARY 2025 Arrangements for festive events at Garway Pre-school and School so that you can add them to your calendars.

Wednesday 3rd December morning Pre-school visit to Pontrilas CARE café PS will travel by minibus to the café, where they will be able to 'post' a letter to Father Christmas himself and enjoy some hot chocolate and Christmas cookies. |

Wednesday 3rd December Choir Community Carols Garway School Choir will sing Christmas Carols at Pengethly Garden Centre Café and at Orcop Owls’ Christmas Meal. |

Friday 6th December 5pm Village Christmas Garway School Choir will participate in a musical celebration of Christmas. This annual event is always a wonderful start to the festive season, with refreshments and a Christingle activity for children. All are welcome! |

Thursday 11th December Christmas Jumper Day Don’t rush out and buy new jumpers! Why not make decorations to put on your normal jumpers instead? Keep it in the family – pass on Christmas jumpers once your child has outgrown them. If you would like to send them into school, we will put a box in the foyer for folks to rummage in if they need a jumper. Jumpers to sell? If you add a label with your name and how much you would like for the jumper, we will pass the payment on to you if it sells. |

Thursday 11th December afternoon Christmas Cinema Showings of Christmas films in Garway Village Hall for school and pre-school children, complete with festive snacks! |

Friday 12th December from 2 to 4pm Christmas Fair PS and the whole school will be hosting a Christmas Fair at school, selling items they have made during their enterprise week challenge. More details to follow. Come along and buy your Christmas gifts! |

Monday 15th December morning KS1 Nativity Dress Rehearsal This is the session that we take photographs of the children in their costumes. |

Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th December 2pm KS1 Nativity Matinee Performances Details of how to book tickets will be sent out in due course. |

Tuesday 16th December Christmas Crafts Day Pre-school and whole school Donations always welcome: ribbon, beads, buttons, threads, wool, shiny paper, wrapping paper, used Christmas Cards, coloured paper/ card (red, green, gold, silver), cardboard tubes. |

Wednesday 17th December at 12 noon School and Pre-school Christmas Lunch Menu and details of how to order in school newsletter 21.11.25 |

Wednesday 17th December afternoon Christmas Party No food donations needed. During the morning, children will make Christmas hats to wear. |

Thursday 18th December afternoon Festive walk to see the decorated windows in the village. Please join us for Carols on the Common at around 2:45. Spread the word! All welcome. |
